TUTORIAL: My BLFs do not work
If your BLF (Busy Lamp Field) keys do not work correctly, there is a strong chance that this is due to the activation of the global presence in your configuration. Here is how to identify and fix this issue.
Global presence
Enabling global presence allows you to monitor the presence of all tenants on the system. However, it prevents monitoring the presence status of extensions on the same tenant, unless the tenant prefix is added before the extension number.
Example : To monitor extension 1001 of tenant 200, you must use the number 2001001.
Furthermore, if global presence is enabled, it is not possible to use BLFs to monitor the tenant’s parking lots, because their numbers do not have a tenant prefix.
Disable global presence
If the BLFs are configured with only the extension number, global presence must be disabled to avoid display issues.
These adjustments help ensure the proper functioning of the BLFs according to the chosen configuration.
Go to Home > Extensions -> Edit extension > Show advanced options > Global presence
