If the chat feature is not working and returns this error: “message history syncing Failed (Failed initial chat server request: Chat server is not connected) Chat server not connected”

You must connect via SSH to your system and run the following:

• ps fax | grep -i chat –> to check whether the chat server is running; if it is, do not restart the chat server
• /opt/pbxware/sh/pbxware start chat_server –> to start the chat server
