ADD A SIP TRUNK
To create a SIP trunk, please see Register a SIP trunk > Create a trunk
In order to register a Voxwide trunk on PBXware, several parameters must be configured.
Go to the section Home > Trunks located on the left side panel of PBXware (position yourself in the Master-Tenant in the case of a Multi-Tenant edition) and click the button Add a Trunk.
Choose Generic SIP as provider and click on Next step.
Fill in the following fields:
- Name or number: Enter a name for your trunk
- User type:peer
- Peer host: sip.voxnode.com
- Peer username: Trunk ID
- Inbound IP addresses : please enter the incoming IP address(es) provided by the operator (you will be able to find these settings in your operator's STAS).
- Peer secret: Munk password
Show the advanced options and configure the following options:
- Qualification (ms) : 16000
- Pass-thru mode: Yes
- Sign up/Register: with authname@host
- “from” domain : sip.voxnode.com
- Outbound Proxy : sip:sip.voxnode.com
Finally, fill in the following additional configuration so that the trunk can automatically re-register in case of an outage (expand the additional configuration field at the bottom of the page by clicking the button Advanced) :
[registration] expiration=120 auth_rejection_permanent=no max_retries=1000 retry_interval=60 fatal_retry_interval=60 forbidden_retry_interval=120 Receive calls
In order to allow the reception of calls on your Voxwide DID number, you will need to make an additional setting on the operator side.
Follow these steps:
1. Go to the management page for your Voxwide numbers.
2. Locate the field Destination containing your DID number: +339…:sip.voxnode.com.
3. Replace this value with the public URL/IP of your PBXware instance.
After making these changes, save the settings. These adjustments will allow your Voxwide DID number to correctly forward calls to your PBXware instance. Make sure the information you provided is correct to ensure optimal operation of your call reception system.
